At KAVRILO, safety is not treated as a box-ticking exercise. We believe labour hire works best when workers, host clients and the labour hire provider communicate clearly before and during every placement.

This page explains our practical approach to workplace safety, worker readiness, host site expectations and compliance-focused labour hire support.

In this page, “KAVRILO”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Rise Workforce Pty Ltd trading as KAVRILO.

KAVRILO supports safe, suitable and well-communicated labour hire placements for warehouse, factory, logistics and production environments. Our approach focuses on clear site expectations, suitable worker matching, practical induction, PPE awareness, hazard reporting and ongoing communication between KAVRILO, host clients and workers.

1. Our Safety Commitment

KAVRILO is committed to supporting safe, lawful and suitable labour hire placements.

Our approach is based on practical communication, suitable worker matching, clear site expectations and shared responsibility between KAVRILO, workers and host clients.

We aim to support workplaces where workers understand the role, host clients communicate site risks clearly, and safety concerns are raised early.

2. Safety Is a Shared Responsibility

Labour hire safety depends on cooperation between the labour hire provider, the host client and the worker.

KAVRILO supports safe placements by communicating role expectations, checking relevant worker details, supporting onboarding processes and responding to safety concerns where raised.

Host clients are responsible for managing site-specific risks, including workplace layout, machinery, equipment, traffic movement, manual handling, substances, supervision, production processes, site rules and emergency procedures.

Workers are expected to follow lawful and reasonable safety instructions, use required PPE, report hazards, and speak up if a task appears unsafe or unclear.

3. Before a Placement Begins

Before supplying or considering a worker for a placement, KAVRILO may seek relevant information from the host client about:

  • the role and key duties
  • shift times, location and site access
  • physical demands and manual handling requirements
  • licences, tickets, qualifications or experience required
  • PPE requirements
  • site induction arrangements
  • supervision level
  • workplace hazards and risk controls
  • machinery, forklifts, traffic areas or production-line exposure
  • food safety, hygiene or cleanroom requirements where applicable
  • fatigue, temperature, noise or repetitive-task risks
  • emergency procedures and incident reporting contacts.

This information helps us assess whether the role appears suitable for the worker and whether additional clarification is needed before the placement starts.

4. Worker Screening and Readiness

KAVRILO aims to match workers to roles based on suitability, availability and safety expectations.

Depending on the role, this may include reviewing:

  • work rights
  • relevant experience
  • licences, tickets or training records
  • role suitability
  • availability and transport considerations
  • previous relevant work history
  • ability to understand key instructions
  • PPE and site-readiness requirements.

For higher-risk roles such as forklift work, machine operation, container unloading, repetitive manual handling or food production, KAVRILO may seek additional information to confirm role suitability and site expectations.

5. Site Induction and Host Instructions

KAVRILO expects host clients to provide appropriate site-specific induction before a worker begins work.

A suitable induction may include:

  • site entry and sign-in process
  • emergency exits and evacuation procedures
  • first aid and incident reporting process
  • PPE requirements
  • traffic management and pedestrian walkways
  • forklift or mobile plant exclusion zones
  • manual handling procedures
  • equipment, machinery or production-line rules
  • hygiene, food safety or contamination controls where relevant
  • restricted areas
  • supervisor contact details
  • break areas and amenities.

Workers should not be expected to begin unfamiliar tasks without clear instruction, supervision and safety expectations.

6. PPE and Safe Work Expectations

Host clients are expected to clearly identify required PPE for each role and site area.

Depending on the placement, PPE may include:

  • high-visibility clothing
  • safety boots
  • gloves
  • hearing protection
  • eye protection
  • hair nets, beard covers or food-production PPE
  • cold-room or temperature-specific clothing
  • task-specific protective equipment.

Workers are expected to use required PPE correctly and advise KAVRILO or the host supervisor if PPE is missing, damaged, unsuitable or unclear.

7. Manual Handling and Physical Tasks

Many warehouse, factory and logistics roles involve repetitive movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, bending or twisting.

KAVRILO encourages host clients to provide clear instructions and safe systems for manual handling tasks, including:

  • realistic task expectations
  • safe lifting guidance
  • team lifting where required
  • use of trolleys, pallet jacks or mechanical aids where appropriate
  • job rotation where practical
  • reporting of discomfort, injury or unsafe task design
  • realistic productivity expectations that do not compromise safety.

Workers should raise concerns if they are unsure how to perform a task safely or if a task appears beyond their capacity.

8. Forklift, Traffic and Mobile Plant Safety

Forklift and mobile plant environments require strong site control and communication.

Where workers are placed in areas involving forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks or mobile equipment, KAVRILO expects host clients to maintain appropriate controls such as:

  • clear traffic routes
  • pedestrian separation
  • speed limits
  • loading and unloading procedures
  • exclusion zones
  • marked walkways
  • suitable supervision
  • site-specific forklift rules
  • communication between operators, pedestrians and supervisors.

For forklift roles, workers must hold the required licence or authorisation and follow host site procedures.

9. Food Production, Hygiene and Clean Work Areas

For food production or hygiene-sensitive environments, KAVRILO expects workers and host clients to follow relevant site hygiene and food safety requirements.

These may include:

  • hand hygiene
  • hair nets, beard covers and protective clothing
  • clean work areas
  • contamination controls
  • illness reporting expectations
  • allergen or product separation rules
  • temperature control requirements
  • site-specific cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Workers should follow site instructions and raise concerns if hygiene requirements are unclear.

10. Incident, Injury and Hazard Reporting

KAVRILO encourages early reporting of hazards, near misses, injuries, unsafe conditions or unclear instructions.

Workers should report site issues to the host supervisor as soon as reasonably possible and notify KAVRILO where appropriate.

Host clients should notify KAVRILO of incidents, injuries, near misses, performance concerns or safety-related issues involving a KAVRILO worker.

Where an incident occurs, KAVRILO may seek information from the worker and host client to understand what happened, support appropriate reporting, and consider whether further action is required.

11. Consultation, Cooperation and Communication

KAVRILO supports open communication with host clients and workers before and during placements.

This may include discussing:

  • role suitability
  • changes in duties
  • site hazards
  • worker concerns
  • performance issues
  • incidents or near misses
  • fatigue or injury concerns
  • changes to shifts, locations or task requirements.

If the work changes significantly from what was originally discussed, host clients should notify KAVRILO so the placement can be reviewed where needed.

12. When a Placement May Be Unsuitable

A placement may need review if:

  • the role is materially different from what was described
  • required PPE or induction is not provided
  • the worker does not have the required licence, ticket or experience
  • the task appears unsafe or unclear
  • serious hazards are not controlled
  • the worker raises a safety or fitness concern
  • the host client raises a suitability or conduct concern
  • site conditions change significantly.

Where appropriate, KAVRILO may discuss the issue with the host client, provide replacement support, remove the worker from the placement, or decline to supply labour where the work appears unsafe or unsuitable.

13. Compliance-Focused Operations

KAVRILO supports responsible labour hire operations through:

  • worker screening and onboarding
  • right-to-work checks
  • payroll, tax and superannuation administration
  • timesheet and shift record processes
  • WorkCover and insurance-related administration
  • labour hire licensing awareness
  • privacy and data protection practices
  • practical communication with host clients and workers.

KAVRILO is preparing to operate in accordance with Victorian labour hire licensing requirements. Labour hire services will only be supplied where permitted under applicable law.
