When do I get paid?
We process payroll weekly. If your timesheet is submitted and signed on time, your pay will be paid weekly (typically Thursday, subject to bank processing).
How does superannuation work?
We pay your superannuation guarantee directly into your nominated super fund in full compliance with Fair Work regulations.
Who do I call if I am sick?
We operate a 24/7 support line. You must call us at least 2 hours before your shift starts so we can arrange cover with the host client
What documents do I need to start?
Bring (or upload) photo ID and evidence of work rights. If you have licences (LF/LO) or tickets, include those too.
Do I need experience?
Not always. Some roles need experience (e.g., RF scanning, LO forklift), but we also place reliable starters in general hand and packing roles depending on site needs.
What suburbs do you place workers in?
We focus on South-East Melbourne industrial areas, including Dandenong (North & South), Hallam, Keysborough, and Braeside, with nearby sites subject to availability.
How quickly can I get my first shift?
It depends on demand and your availability. Workers who are local, available, and have the right licences/tickets are typically placed sooner.
What should I wear and bring on my first day?
You’ll need appropriate PPE (e.g., steel-cap boots and hi-vis). We’ll confirm site-specific requirements before your shift.
Can international students apply?
Most roles are casual / temporary labour hire. Some shifts can lead to ongoing work depending on performance and client demand.
Can I choose my shifts?
You can tell us your preferred shifts (day/afternoon/night), but shifts depend on client requirements and your reliability/attendance.
What if I’m running late?
Call us immediately. Late arrivals can impact the whole shift, so we need to notify the host site and manage expectations early.
What if the job isn’t suitable for me?
Tell us as soon as possible. We’ll review the role fit and try to match you to a better site where available.
Do you charge workers any fees?
No. There are no sign-up fees to join our roster.
How do timesheets work?
Your timesheet must be completed accurately and approved by the host supervisor. Late or unsigned timesheets may delay payroll.
Do you pay penalties and allowances?
Yes, where applicable under the correct award and site conditions (e.g., shift loadings). We’ll explain your pay details when confirming shifts.
Who is my employer — KAVRILO or the host site?
KAVRILO (Rise Workforce Pty Ltd) is your employer. You’ll work on-site at a host client under their day-to-day direction.
What happens if there’s a safety issue on site?
Stop and speak up. Report hazards to the host supervisor and contact KAVRILO. Safety is non-negotiable.
